Are you Licensed and Insured?

Yes, Easy Florida Moving LLC is licensed to move Household goods locally (Lic:#MR01241) in State of Florida (Dept of Agriculture Lic#:IM2901)

Federaral Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) granted an Operating Authority to Easy Florida Moving LLC (MC 057089) to move customer’s Household Goods Nationwide.

US Department of Transportation issued USDOT: 3064335 to Easy Florida Moving LLC.

To Comply with County, State and Federal regulations Easy Florida Moving LLC holds such insurance coverages as:

  • Automotive
  • Cargo
  • General Liability
My Condo Requires COI from movers, will you provide it?

Yes, after we sign the contract with you, the only thing that you need to do is to give us the contact of building Manager, and we will take care of it.

The issuance of Certificate of Insurance is always FREE at Easy Florida Moving LLC.

Are you a broker?

No, We are Independently own Moving Company.

We, at Easy Florida Moving LLC, have our own trucks, equipment and employees. This way we take the full control of everything and are able to resolve any issue fast and efficient.

Where are you located and what areas do you serve?

Main office with warehouse is located in Hallandale Beach, FL

We work locally in Tri-Counties (Miami-Dade, Broward, Palm Beach), some cities are listed HERE, but not limited to.

If you are moving Out of State we can pick up your stuff in any part of Florida.

What Kind of Trucks do you use?

Depending on the size of your move we use either 16′ box truck with ramp or 26′ box truck with liftgate.

For Long Distance moves we use either 26′ trucks or Semi Trucks for Cross-Counry Relocation.

How do you insure my stuff while moving?

Our Basic Valuation coverage is $0,60 per pound per article, as required by Law and included FREE of charge.

If you want to insure your stuff to a replacement value we have partnered with the Best Moving Insurer: Baker International

Please, ask you representative in advance to have time for all the legal procedures.

Do I need an in-home estimate?

You do in the next cases:

  • You are moving long distance and have more than 1-bedroom home.
  • You require Full Packing Service.
  • You are not sure if 26′ truck can approach to your place relatively close.
  • You are moving locally and have 3-bedroom home and more.

In other words, you need an in-home estimate if your job is rather expensive or complicated, otherwise we will provide you with estimate over the phone.

Questions about Moving Cost and Payment

How much do you charge to move 1-bedroom home 2 miles away?

The cost of your move depends on several factors (for the moves within distance up to 50 miles):

1. The scope of work that will include:

  • Amount of items that you are moving.
  • Packing materials that will need to be used to protect your stuff.

2. All Conditions at pick-up and delivery location (stairs, elevator, long carry, narrow staircases, etc).

3. Time that movers will need to spend to get everything done.

How much do you charge to move Long Distance?

If you are moving within Florida we offer special rates and staight deliveries with no extra charge. CLICK HERE to see some In-State (Intrastate) pricing.

If your move is out of Florida we can offer you customized plans to fit your budget and needs. More information can be found HERE.

Do you require deposit?

For the local jobs we take a deposit which is 20% from the job total or at least $160.

For Long Distance moves the deposit up to 20% of your Moving Estimate is required.

What Forms of Payment do you accept?

We accept all major Credit/Debit Cards (3% processing fee will apply), Zelle and Cash, cashier’s checks, money order.

Please be advised, that Personal checks and any other transfers can not be accepted.

How much should I Tip Movers?

The Tipping is not mandatory.

However, if you are satisfied with the service, you are more than welcome to tip guys whatever amount you wish. It’ll be highly appreciated.

Questions about Packing

Do You Provide Boxes and pack them?

Yes, We do.

This is what we call: “Full-packing Service”. If your relocation requires full-packing or you need some help packing your home, please ask our moving specialist about pricing.

Our Trucks are always loaded with some amount of boxes of all sizes as long as bubble wrap, plastic, white paper, etc. Your stuff will always be packed and secured in the truck to avoid any damage.

 

Do you disassemble my furniture and put it back?

Yes.

We have all the necessary tools in our trucks and our movers are trained and experienced to reassemble your furniture. You will not have to pay any extra cost for this service!

Will you pack my Furniture?

Yes, we will.

Your solid furniture will be wrapped in heavy-duty moving blankets. Blankets and tapes are included in any move that we do, so you will not have to worry about extra cost for it.

If some of your items are fragile or delicate, they will need to be taken extra care of and packed in proper packing materials, such as: bubble wrap, cardboard, plastic, etc. Cost of those packing materials are charged additionally.

 

Can I use trash bags to pack my stuff?

No.

All the personal and misc items should be boxed up in the boxes of appropriate size to avoid damaging and have the move done effectively, as we move several boxes at a time on the handtrucks and dollies.

Do I need to empty out the drawers?

Yes.

We always recomment to empty the drawers out to avoid overweigh and keep the drawers safe while we move a piece of furniture
